You may also be happy to have that jacket along with you when you are in air-conditioned rooms. You may think that sandals will be enough when you are on ship, but if you want to do a lot of walking around at the various ports that the ship will put in at, those sandals can end up making your feet hurt. Sturdy walking shoes or comfortable sneakers will make sure that you can spend all the time walking around that you want, and your feet probably won't hurt when you get back to your cabin. Make sure that you have spent the time breaking in your shoes before your trip because wearing brand-new sneakers or walking shoes will make your feet hurt just as much as wearing sandals might.
